The Simple Life

I have always thought that decluttering, a clean house, quiet kids, a believing spouse, going to church, not getting mad, having more things, having less things, praying more etc. was living the simple life.
I am finding that simplicity is not in what man can or cannot do, nor in living on more or less. Sure these things help to simplify life but they do not simplify the heart. Only Christ can do that. And I am asking Him to do that for me.
Just when I think I am all growned up He shows me yet another thing about myself that gots to go.
Help me Lord to give you my chaotic, undecisive, dreadfully, doubting mind to you!
